Neil Davis prepares for the Leader Board Challenge

Neil Davis warms up for the LeaderBoard Challenge

FPS MD Neil Davis takes his triathlon training to the next level.

Neil Davis is Managing Director of Stratford-upon-Avon based business FPS. You may have seen the FPS name recently as a sponsor of Andrew Pozzi, the Stratford hurdler, as well as local junior rugby and football teams. Neil is part of a team of Managing Directors and Chief Executives called the LeaderBoard who are raising money for Sport Relief 2012 by competing against each other at the Blenheim Triathlon on June 10th. There are 30 or so in the team, made up of all shapes, sizes and ages. Neil will be facing some stiff competition as the LeaderBoard team also includes professional athletes such as Roger Black and Austin Healey. Several entrants are also doing the Stratford Triathlon in May. Some of the other team members recently met in London to do some promotional photographs for the fundraising, combining businessmen in suits with various phases of the Triathlon event. At FPS we are encouraging as many colleagues as possible to support Sport Relief, including entering the Sport Relief mile around the country on 25th March. Neil Davis decided that rather than go and do some publicity in London, he would have some fun and do some locally, so this is it. The event has turned from some still photography into a short video in the style of “The Artist” which is now on YouTube. The video contains footage of Neil swimming across the Avon wearing his suit and riding a child’s bike into a tree, all the while running away from his adoring fans. If anyone wants to support Sport Relief, the efforts of Neil Davis and the FPS team in the Triathlon, mile or other events, they can donate online at www.sportrelief.com by hitting the “Sponsor and Donate” button and searching for Neil Davis or by donating to Team FPS.
