FPS’s biggest-ever trade show, the FPS 2011 Showcase, took place in the impressive surroundings of Birmingham’s NEC on 7 April. More than 450 customers from across the UK attended the event, where over 70 industry-leading suppliers and industry bodies exhibited their products and services.
A range of exclusive offers were available for attendees to take advantage of and encourage trading on the day. One of the stand-out offers came from OE manufacturer Gates, who were offering FREE technical training worth (over) £600. With 10 FPS customers taking up this offer, that’s over £6,000 worth of training given away by Gates.
The event offered those in attendance a variety of ways in which to get closer to supplier representatives and products, and a Technical Arena gave key suppliers the opportunity to present their latest innovations and concepts in live forum sessions throughout the day.
The FPS management, sales and eBusiness teams were represented at a state-of-the-art interactive area which not only offered visitors demonstrations of the latest system developments, but also meeting areas where they could discuss the ways in which FPS can help customers develop and drive their business.
With so much to see and do, many of those attending the Showcase spent hours networking, learning and talking business – and were sustained by breakfast, lunch and refreshments throughout the day, courtesy of the hosts.
