WDS portfolio grows as more brands are added

As a next day supplier, WDS is uniquely positioned so that it provides stockists with the specific brands they require, maintaining a continuity of supply to their own customer base.

As part of the new supply agreement, WDS is now a distributor for XL’s extensive range of lead sets along with the Kilen brand, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of coil and road springs and part of Swedish company Lesjofors. WDS also distributes Lucas TRW braking and Gates products. Through a sustained growth strategy, WDS plans to increase the number of brands it supplies by adding a new one to the portfolio every month.

In its role, WDS helps set-up new stockists and provides them with a welcome pack, which contains essential information on the brands and services it provides. This has proved very effective and in its first year of trading, sales levels are substantially exceeding expectations.

WDS is based in Sheffield and has its own contact details including phone number, fax number and email address, thereby differentiating it from FPS. The set-up is tailored to suit the UK factor market and there are no restrictions on the number of orders that can be placed by customers in a week.

This offering, coupled with the efficient delivery of orders from its own van fleet and no minimum order quantity, means that WDS offers an exceptionally high level of service – with real benefits for the customer.
