Descriptions of typical branch roles

Van Driver
To be a van driver you must be  a holder of a clean driving license for over four years. Our van drivers are responsible for our customer deliveries, often running a scheduled route to the same customers each day. These are largely done in our fleet of light commercial vans, predominantly Citroen Berlingos.
Alongside driving ability, you will also need to manage delivery and collection paperwork and to be reasonably fit and healthy as lifting is involved. This may include from time to time some warehouse picking and putting away.
As a business we are committed to a positive health and safety environment. It will be an advantage if you have previous driver training, but if not we will provide further training to new employees where appropriate.

Previous experience of driving a delivery vehicle and knowledge of the area to be covered is welcomed, though not essential.

Van Driver/Warehouse Operative
A similar role to the Van Driver above, but from time to time with an increased level of warehouse involvement. Again previous experience is welcomed, although training will be offered to the right applicant.

Telesales Operative
Our telesales operatives are branched based, working with a small branch team. The work mainly involves receiving and processing branch orders with limited outward calling and some other sundry duties. Previous experience of working in a telesales office in an automotive/CV/engine parts environment is considered essential for such a position, though if you believe you are capable of performing such a role albeit from a different background we would be happy to hear from you.
